About the Role
A loving family of five (2 parents and their 3 children: a 5-year-old boy, an 8-year-old girl, and a 10-year-old girl) on the Upper West Side is looking to replace a cherished nanny who is retiring after over a decade with the family. We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing live-in nanny to join our household from Sunday evening to Friday evening.
You will work alongside a full-time housekeeper and a part-time second babysitter. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Preparing daily breakfast and lunch for the mother.
Bringing children to school by bus (parents will assist on some days).
Daily tidying of children's areas (laundry will be handled by the housekeeper).
Managing household food provisions and ordering groceries through online delivery services.
Picking up the 5-year-old from school and escorting him to after-school activities.
Preparing dinner for the children and for the family on Friday evenings.
Supervising children's bathtime, showers, and bedtime routines.
Requirements
Previous experience as a nanny or caregiver.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with household staff.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
A passion for working with children and fostering their development.
Must be willing to commit to live-in arrangements from Sunday evening to Friday evening.
