About the Role
Yaya Agency is seeking a compassionate and experienced nanny to provide attentive care for a 3.5-year-old girl. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient, and experienced in managing toddler behaviors, while also being capable of holding firm boundaries when necessary.
Requirements
Location: New york City
Start Date: February 13-15, 2025
Desired Nanny Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Occasional overtime during evenings or weekends (with advance notice)
Salary Range: $25 - $35 per hour
Child Information:
Child Name: [3.5 years old, no special needs/allergies]
Responsibilities:
Prepare lunch and assist with school pickups.
Facilitate playdates and supervise play activities at home.
Take the child to afternoon classes.
Prepare and serve dinner.
Manage child-related activities including bathing, laundry, and meal preparation.
Maintain cleanliness in the child's play area and room.
Coordinate with other caregivers, including school personnel and playdates.
Nanny Requirements:
Gender Preference: Female
Nationality: Open
Language: English (additional languages such as Chinese is a plus)
Minimum Qualifications: At least completed high school (diploma or post-high school education preferred)
Experience: 2-5 years of experience with toddlers, ideally 5 years or more.
Live-In or Live-Out Preference: Live-out
Desired Qualities:
Extremely loving with a firm approach to boundaries.
Patience and ability to negotiate with children, especially with shy personalities.
Outgoing and confident in coordinating with other caregivers and parents.
Open communicator accustomed to frequent updates and discussions with parents.
Flexible and reliable concerning scheduling needs, including overtime and last-minute requests.
Additional Information:
The family prefers a nanny who can assist with household chores like meal prep and grocery shopping, although child care remains the priority.
The parents work from home, requiring a nanny comfortable with their presence during working hours.
